Where can I find answers regarding dogs affecting human health? Do I have to keep it completly away from baby?

We are anticipating a baby and also have a new puppy. We’re concerned about what precautions need to be taken if any regarding the babies health. If the dog sleeps in our bed is it ever innocuous to place the baby on the bed? Are there risks if the dog happens to lick the babies face? Can the baby become sick from contact with the dog? Can the baby crawl on the floor where the dog also walks? We keep the dog clean and bathe her each 10-15 days. But, they are dogs. . . . are they cleaner than the common stereotype? Hopefully someone can place us in the right direction to answers.

Thank you so much for any and all help in advance !
Best regards,
Tim Smith
